On the 5th of June 1989, the world was shocked by the Tiananmen protests that were beaten down by the chinese government. The picture that will always be in our minds is the one of the lone man, with his white shopping bags, defying four tanks.

We can only wonder what happened to this man, and what went on in his head at the time he stood there. That is bravery!
