Three out of every four unique Blogspot.com URLs that appeared in the top 50 results for commercial queries were spam, the study said. Blogspot is the hosting site for Google’s blogging service. Blogs created for marketing purposes are sometimes referred to as “splogs.”
This quote comes from the story: Study Exposes ‘Search Spam’ which shows some ways spammers try to get click’s for their adsense accounts. Blogger is featured as being a big source of these so called splogs. If you surf the blogger sites, you can click onto the next blog using the banner at the top of the page. Keep doing this and you may find that indeed a lot of the blogs online are no real blogs, no real function, but just a collection of links.
On the other hand, clicking that way is the way i found sweetdegeneration, zephyrillusions and evanbrown’s log. So.. sometimes you may find interesting sites that way..
