This reminds me of a great teacher in my college years, who also had the tendency to analyse the outcomes of his test scores, and to write some beautifull prose on the matter. One year we all received a letter stating that based on the outcome of the multiple choice questions “even dice are smarter than you lot” …. What happened? It was a multiple choice exam with True and False answers. We as a class managed to pass approximately 35%. His theory: if we had all chosen A or B and kept that for the whole exam, the total pass score would have been 50%. In all, he is someone i’ll never forget. Sadly enough, a few years back I heard he had passed away…
